Just Passing Through Hoi An

On our way to Mui Ne, we passed through Hoi An and had a few hours before we had to catch the overnight bus.  Unfortunately, our bus company was booked, even after we called and stopped by the office.  I wish I could remember the name of the company so people would know to stay away.  Anyway, we ended up transferring our tickets to another company thanks to the generosity of the woman working there, even when there was a sign posted that said they do not accept transfers from our company.  Yep, that happened, but it all worked out and here are a few photos of our few hours in Hoi An.

 (Floating Gardens)

(Another alley - I believe this guy was looking for customers to carry around)

(Doing a little work on the farm)

(Ancient Japanese or Chinese like bridge in the city.  It is pretty famous but we didn't have a ticket to go over it.)

(Another bridge crossing over to the other side of town.  It was nice, the area we were in was a car free zone so we were able to walk around with few worries.)

(Something for sale)

(A few boats on the river)

(Yep, Hoi An, that's where we were)

(Two older ladies paddling up and down the river looking for customers)

(This was the little shop we stopped at to have a drink while we waited for our overnight bus)

(View from the restaurant)

(Yellow seemed to be a popular color for store fronts and this town definitely had a charm to it)

(Another alley)

(A sweet little hut/home/dwelling/building)
